Only the second half keeps you on the edge of your seat when the submarines go head-to-head, firing torpedoes and defending themselves. Here the supporting cast doesn’t look like a like Navy men and the characters in the Pakistani submarine are not well portrait.

Taapsee Pannu role is not needed in the movie actually she has nothing do in the film hardly have 10 mins screen presence. First half totally belongs to Kay Kay Menon role as Capt Ranvijay Singh, he was good in his part and second half to Atul Kulkarni as second-in-command Devaraj but here Rana Daggubati delivers a average performance although he looks good in the Navy uniform. This movie is not a typical Bollywood film which has loves stories, comic scenes & songs which can restrict its audience. However, the Indian Navy credits the destroyer INS Rajput for its sinking. MOVIE REVIEW : India’s first underwater war film based on the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi in 1971, directed by Sankalp Reddy, deserves appreciation for its impressive filmmaking as a debutant.Īccording to the Pak army, PNS Ghazi sank due to explosions caused by its elf or the landmines it laid in the Bay of Bengal. PLOT : A Pakistani submarine vanishes under mysterious circumstances.
